Triquetra Pentacle Elemental Key Pendant

This Triquetra Pentacle Elemental Key Pendant is a combination of two sacred symbols: the Pentacle and the Triquetra.

This pendant would make an alluring set with the Triquetra Pentacle Elemental Earrings.

As a primary symbol used by Wiccans and other Neo-Pagans, the Pentacle also represents aspects of their faith. To some, the Pentacle represents the spiritual aspects of life and seeking secret knowledge. To others the five points symbolize the four directions of north, south, east and west with the fifth point representing sanctity of spirit. When within a circle, the star symbolizes wholeness, unity and divine knowledge.

Like all Celtic knots, the Triquetra is constructed of one continuous line interweaving around itself symbolizing no beginning or end, an eternal spiritual life. It is also known as the Trinity Knot.

The Celts favored the idea that everything important in the world came in threes; three stages of life, three elements, three domains; earth, sea and sky, past, present and future. The Triquetra is sometimes drawn weaving around a circle, symbolizing the unity of the three parts.

The combination of these two symbols is like a power house of protection to the wearer. It is elemental and spiritual.
